Bruce Teel

In 1995, Bruce graduated from Humber College's Theatre department where he was the first ever recipient of the Theatre Humber Award. Bruce has appeared on television and stage alike. Over the past 15 years, Bruce has performed in several stage productions including Hamlet, Fiddler on the Roof, The Crucible, and most recently Gypsy. He has also written, produced, directed, and worked behind the scenes on several productions including Arsenic and Old Lace, Addictions, Stale, Funny thing Happened on the way to the Forum, Beirut, Godspell, Conversations at Night with a Despised Character, Three Sisters, and The Forgotten Ones.

Bruce was the founder and Artistic Director of Exodous Productions a company dedicated to allowing opportunities to non-professionals to get professional experience both on stage and behind the scenes and for two seasons the Artistic Director of Cue 2 Cue Productions.

April 2010 was a highlight for Bruce when he was nominated for a MARTY Award in the Visual Arts Emerging Artists category, presented by The Mississauga Arts Council. Bruce is a diverse professional artist that currently resides in Mississauga preparing for the 2010-2011 theatre season and is putting the finishing touches on his first book due out later this year.
